Business Controller – Indirect Cost Centre of Expertise

About the role

Join a global Centre of Expertise as a Business Controller focused on indirect costs. You will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for headcount, labour, IT spend and other operating expenses across all business units and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and interpret financial information for sales, revenue and cost streams.
• Support the Business Decision Support (BDS) organization with trend analysis and monitoring.
• Interpret actuals, forecasts and budgets, delivering insightful commentaries.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for key financial systems and models within the CoE.
• Collaborate with the Financial Director and BDS Business Controllers to drive financial success and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with advanced MS Excel modeling capabilities.
• Experience handling large data sets and quickly learning new tools.
• Self‑starter with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Team player who can support peers on operational tasks and ad‑hoc projects.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Required skills

• MS Excel – advanced user
• Oracle Hyperion (including Smartview) – preferable
