Associate Legal Counsel

About the role

The Associate Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the company, focusing on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters. The role involves safeguarding the organization against legal risks while ensuring all transactions comply with applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legal and policy issues and develop strategies to address them.
• Ensure all company agreements and transactions are legally compliant.
• Represent the company or its officials in legal proceedings.
• Draft, review, and administer contracts and other business documents.
• Improve legal templates, forms, and instruments.
• Prepare briefs, reports, opinions, and other legal documentation.
• Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
• Negotiate business agreements and advise on risk mitigation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputable law school.
• Passage of the Philippine Bar Examination.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience.
