Assistant Manager - Projects & Workplace Solutions

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Projects & Workplace Solutions will support day‑to‑day management of workplace facilities, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable and cost‑effective operations that enable 24/5 BPO service delivery. You will work across single or multiple sites, partnering with engineering, EHS, vendors and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations, engineering coordination and EHS compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships, fit‑out and renovation projects, and minor to medium‑scale capital projects.
• Coordinate with landlords, designers, contractors and service providers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support site expansion, seat ramp‑up and space optimisation initiatives.
• Drive process improvement and automation using CMMS/CAFM, digital EHS reporting and workplace analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of facilities management experience, including 1–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Experience supporting large office environments (1000+ employees), preferably in BPO or shared services.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently with guidance from senior management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS/CAFM systems.
• Automated work order, preventive maintenance and asset tracking tools.
• Vendor performance and SLA reporting dashboards.
• Digital EHS reporting, audits and incident tracking.
• Knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements: DOLE OSH Standards, DENR environmental compliance, BFP Fire Code.
• Familiarity with workplace analytics, reporting automation or smart‑building solutions.
