Assistant AU Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant AU Tax Manager to support our finance team in delivering high‑quality tax and accounting services to our clients. This hybrid position is based in the Philippines (Cebu/Angeles) and offers the chance to work in a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial information and prepare reports on assets, liabilities, profit & loss, and tax liabilities.
• Review work papers, ensure proper documentation, and verify compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements in line with current legal and reporting requirements.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues and provide tax planning advice.
• Review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
• Communicate workflow and performance matters with managers and partners.

Required profile

• Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
• Completed CA qualification or equivalent.
• 4‑5 years of experience in professional services, preferably in tax or accounting.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
