About the role
The Admin Assistant – Commercial will support the Commercial Strategy team during both the pre‑opening and operational phases of Mandarin Oriental Makati. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy, the role ensures smooth administrative processes, effective coordination, and clear communication across the Commercial division.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments for the Director of Commercial Strategy.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation as required.
- Handle filing, record‑keeping and database management while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing commercial plans, reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the organization of sales, marketing and revenue‑management meetings.
- Coordinate with other departments to align commercial initiatives.
- Provide administrative assistance for setting up systems, processes and documentation during the pre‑opening phase.
- Track project timelines, deliverables and milestones related to pre‑opening activities.
- Liaise with vendors, partners and external stakeholders as directed.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Commercial Strategy office, handling inquiries professionally.
Required profile
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive attitude and capacity to work collaboratively across departments.
