Accounting Staff – 3 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Staff member with at least three years of general accounting experience to support our finance operations. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial activities, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily spending and collections, maintaining the operational budget.
• Analyze financial trends and advise management on necessary actions.
• Process monthly government compliance filings (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, BIR) and update employee records.
• Prepare and file E‑BIR 1601‑C, compute monthly KPIs, allowances and sales incentives.
• Check payroll cut‑offs and assist in payroll preparation.
• Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Create cash vouchers, post expenditures, and reconcile bank statements.
• Monitor advances, verify liquidated expenses, and generate financial reports.
• Support collections, receivables, and other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA or non‑CPA acceptable).
• Minimum three years of experience in general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accrual and cash‑basis accounting.
• Self‑starter with high attention to detail and reliability.
• Effective communication skills across all team levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (advantageous).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
