Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the statutory financial reporting and accounting operations for Mastercard's Philippines entity. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements while supporting audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting in a highly regulated remittance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee external audits of Philippine entities to ensure unqualified audit opinions.
• Review and implement adjustments required for statutory reporting compliance.
• Lead the design, documentation, and enforcement of financial controls and processes.
• Validate revenue‑generating entries and ensure correct currency and legal‑entity booking.
• Define and document the Oracle posting process for hard‑currency conversions.
• Monitor month‑end close activities and consolidate results across all MTS entities.
• Manage settlement bank reconciliations and approve related journal entries.

Required profile

• Highly motivated team‑player capable of collaborating across finance, operations, and technology teams.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting requirements in the Philippines.
• Experience in leading audit processes and implementing internal controls.
• Ability to drive process improvements and maintain financial integrity.

Required skills

• Oracle (ERP) for posting journal entries and revenue processing.
