Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager leads the organization’s accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and disbursement processes. This senior position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial information for both executive and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting, disbursement, financial reporting, and tax functions.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely processing of all financial transactions.
• Review audited financial statements and endorse submissions to regulatory bodies such as the SEC and BIR.
• Lead external audit engagements, coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies, and address audit findings.
• Enhance accounting systems, processes, and internal controls to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor and employee payments, and expense approvals with proper authorization.
• Support departmental budgeting, monitor utilization, and provide variance analysis.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• CPA license issued by the PRC.
• Preferably a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting).
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.
• Strong experience with accounting systems, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability in compliance, internal controls, and financial governance.
