Wholesale Digital Fraud Officer

About the role

The Wholesale Digital Fraud Officer joins ANZ’s Institutional Banking division to protect corporate and institutional clients from fraud and cyber‑related threats. Working within a dynamic cyber‑fraud team, you will help safeguard digital transactions and support the bank’s reputation for security.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate suspicious payments flagged by the Insto Falcon transaction monitoring system.
• Monitor and assess suspicious access attempts and malware activity on ANZ’s digital platforms.
• Act as case manager for customer fraud incidents, driving investigations and fund recovery.
• Share expertise across the organisation and with customers as a subject‑matter expert.
• Collaborate with business teams to improve processes, gather feedback, and enhance team capabilities.
• Support the fraud analytics team by identifying trends and refining detection rules.
