Transport Manager

About the role

The Transport Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of all transport activities for 2GO Logistics. You will ensure cargo is moved efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure profitability and efficient management of transport operations.
• Design and implement procedures that minimise lead‑time and cost for cargo transfer and delivery.
• Streamline processes, optimise resource utilisation, and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare the annual transport budget, analyse variances and take corrective actions.
• Monitor on‑time delivery performance and collaborate with internal units to meet targets.
• Negotiate rates, contracts and new supplier agreements with external partners.
• Report transport developments to senior management and represent the company in client reviews.
• Handle client complaints, approve billing and invoices, and support employee development.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 4‑year degree program.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in transport, logistics or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
