Technical Project Manager (EPPM, PPM PRO)

About the role

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an IT Project Manager II and help deliver critical IT initiatives that support the company’s mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will work in an agile environment, guiding cross‑functional teams from project inception through completion while promoting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Guide cross‑functional teams in delivering important IT initiatives.
• Manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote continuous improvement practices and agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project success.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe are preferred.
• Business‑level English proficiency; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work in a results‑oriented, adaptable environment.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in Planview tools (EPPM & PPM PRO).
• Basic programming knowledge.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Planview.
• Experience with enterprise software implementation and system integration projects.
• Understanding of IT service management and operations.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Six Sigma).
