Structural Design Engineer

About the role

The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing comprehensive load analyses and designing structural systems for a variety of projects. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers and leading junior team members to ensure safe and code‑compliant designs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare load analysis for dead, live, wind, earthquake and other loads using applicable codes.
• Identify and apply appropriate load combinations for structural design and analysis.
• Model structural geometry with STAAD, ETABS, or other licensed software.
• Calculate static and dynamic earthquake effects for vertical and horizontal structures.
• Assist in designing foundations, connections, concrete slabs, steel structures, and related components using Excel, MathCAD, SpCol or similar tools.
• Support the creation of detailed design sketches for CAD operators.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers throughout project phases.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to conduct structural load analysis and design.
• Experience leading or supervising junior engineering staff.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard structural analysis software.
