Software Engineer – Reporting & Dashboard Development

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our technology team and drive web‑based reporting, dashboard creation, and automation projects. The ideal candidate will blend strong software development skills with expertise in data visualization and reporting tools to deliver actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core, Web API, and C#.
• Build front‑end components with JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Create, enhance, and automate reports using Solver, Power Query, and advanced Excel.
• Develop and maintain MS SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and related objects.
• Design interactive Power BI dashboards that translate business requirements into visual insights.
• Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshoot performance issues across applications, databases, and dashboards.
• Document technical solutions, reporting processes, and system configurations.
• Work independently while taking ownership of assigned projects and provide guidance to teammates when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in software development within an IT environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple development and reporting tasks.
• Previous experience in a lead or senior role is highly preferred.
