Social Media Team Lead

About the role

The Social Media Team Lead will shape and execute PlayTime Entertainment’s social media strategy across all its brands, driving audience growth and fostering meaningful community connections.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches and cultural events.
• Create, curate and oversee production of multimedia content (graphics, short‑form video, copy, stories, reels) for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X.
• Collaborate with PT Gaming, PT Idols, PT Sports and PT Media to ensure consistent brand voice.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimise strategy based on data‑driven insights.
• Manage online communities, respond to comments and messages, and launch engagement initiatives such as polls, Q&As and user‑generated content campaigns.
• Identify and escalate potential PR or customer‑service issues and track community sentiment.
• Stay current with platform trends, algorithm changes and emerging features.
• Coordinate paid social campaigns with the performance marketing team and produce regular reports on reach, engagement, follower growth and conversion.
• Liaise with creative, PR and brand teams, work with influencers and KOLs, and mentor junior social media staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in social media management, content creation or community management, preferably in entertainment, gaming, esports or lifestyle.
• Proven record of growing and engaging audiences on major platforms.
• Strong understanding of Filipino digital culture and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Filipino is a strong plus.
