Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring smooth vault and ATM cash management, tellering functions, and compliance with all regulatory and internal policies. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving revenue through cross‑selling and other business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, bank policies, and internal procedures.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to prevent errors, irregularities, and potential financial losses.
• Maintain high service standards by providing fast, accurate, and error‑free processing for customers.
• Manage productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Service Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of bank policies and branch‑operation procedures.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle stressful situations while meeting deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
