Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant will lead the preparation and filing of tax returns, support tax provision work under ASC 740, and manage interactions with tax authorities. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work night‑shift US hours while based in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, reports, and statistical/financial statements.
• Support tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
• File claims for tax refunds and maintain comprehensive tax records.
• Respond to queries from tax authorities and assist with audit processes.
• Conduct tax research and implement approved tax strategies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive tax or accounting experience.
• Willingness to work night‑shift US hours and during Philippine holidays.
• Ability to work onsite at Alabang, Muntinlupa when office operations resume.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Word proficiency.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP General Ledger system.
• Familiarity with RIA/BNA online research software.
• Knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision standards.
