Senior Designer

About the role

GMD Studio is seeking a senior, hands‑on designer to lead creative projects from brief to final execution. You will work remotely with a team that operates on Australian hours, ensuring meaningful overlap with colleagues throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret briefs, define business problems, and set strong creative direction.
• Design brand identities, e‑commerce assets, websites, packaging, and campaign materials.
• Lead projects independently, present concepts to clients, and oversee execution to high detail.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and wider creative team while maintaining ownership of your work.

Required profile

• Passion for thoughtful design that balances strategy and curiosity.
• High standards for typography, detail, and overall quality without ego.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time, and communicate openly in a remote‑first environment.

Required skills

• Strong visual design sensibility across brand identity, digital, and print.
• Proficiency in design tools and software commonly used in branding and UI work.
