Road Transport Integrator – Management Level 6

About the role

The Road Transport Integrator (Management Level 6) is responsible for overseeing all systems and processes that enable successful outsource scheduling and day‑to‑day transport operations. You will act as the primary interface between Shell and Road Transport (RT) contractors, ensuring safe, cost‑effective, and compliant deliveries to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities and coordinate between RT contractors and Shell partners such as Mobility, Supply, Loading Locations, and Delivery Fulfillment.
• Align commercial terms, feasibility, and logistical plans with all stakeholders.
• Monitor plan vs. actual liftings, stockout levels, and working capital with contractors.
• Support the processing of Shell ‘phoned‑in’ customer orders, ensuring they are entered in Markethub and mapped in the TMP system.
• Handle credit assurance for non‑consigned VMI customers and manage blocked sites.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting during VMI system outages and assist with terminal automation loading issues.
• Ensure export of movement reference documents from SAP to terminal locations and oversee manual advanced shipment notifications.
• Authorize non‑standard deliveries and resolve in‑transit product disputes.

Required profile

• Management Level 6 experience (formerly JG) within transport or logistics operations.
• Proven ability to work closely with RT contractors and internal Shell stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and cost‑effectiveness in product delivery.
• Experience in handling credit management and VMI processes.
