About the role
An established U.S. public accounting firm seeks a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client. The role requires working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time and offers a fully remote setup.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Record and review adjusting journal entries.
- Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign‑off.
Required profile
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably supporting U.S. clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
- Available to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Required skills
- U.S. GAAP knowledge.
- Tax preparation concepts.
