Project Inspector – Dams

About the role

We are looking for a Project Inspector to ensure the compliance, quality, and safety of dam and hydropower infrastructure works. You will conduct daily inspections, verify design specifications, monitor construction practices, and report any deviations from standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of dam works and verify conformance to design/specifications.
• Monitor material usage, concrete, earth fill, spillways, and geotechnical parameters.
• Identify, record, and report defects, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
• Maintain inspection records, submit daily/weekly progress reports, and review contractor test results.
• Participate in coordination meetings, relay site issues to design teams, and verify work method statements.
• Witness testing, confirm grouting, compaction, and structural formwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PRC or equivalent).
• Specialization or certification in Dams/Hydropower.
• Experience supervising dam or hydropower construction projects.
• Knowledge of dam types, seepage control, and geotechnical & structural components.
