Production Planner

About the role

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Production Planner to ensure smooth, continuous flow on the manufacturing line. You will act as the bridge between purchasing, engineering, QA, and production while keeping customers informed of any delivery changes.

Key responsibilities

• Load the production line with sufficient work‑in‑progress to maintain continuous flow.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to align material deliveries with customer commitments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Production to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
• Notify customers promptly of any changes to shipment or delivery dates.
• Achieve planning KPIs and apply PDCA cycles when targets are not met.
• Escalate critical issues to the Planning Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in BSIE or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor or electronics environment.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas).
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
