About the role
We are hiring a Production Manager to support the Operations Manager in directing production activities across multiple lines, including bread, bakery, cake, pastry, food line, dispatching, distribution and portering.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Manager in overall direction and management of all production lines.
- Lead the production team to deliver goods on time, with the required quality, food safety standards and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain production cost targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar production environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control.
