Operations Supervisor

About the role

Mercato Centrale Philippines is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the daily activities of its outdoor food market locations. You will be the on‑site point of contact, ensuring smooth market operations, vendor satisfaction, and the successful execution of company initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full operational oversight of all Mercato outdoor food market sites.
• Supervise daily market activities and maintain a constant on‑site presence.
• Coordinate with vendors, resolve issues, and make real‑time operational decisions.
• Implement company directives, promotions, and continuous operational improvements.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports to the General Manager covering incidents, vendor concerns, market conditions, and other relevant matters.
• Engage in marketing, promotion, and visibility actions to boost market performance.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management that align with the supervisory role.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory and team‑leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in operations management, preferably within food markets or events.
• Analytical mindset for problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Prior experience in food‑market or events management is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
