NPI Engineer – New Trench Technology Projects

About the role

The NPI Engineer will support New Trench Technology and platform projects within Nexperia's R&D department. Reporting to the ATCB NPI Manager, you will act as the bridge between business groups in Europe and the Cabuyao manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure projects follow BCAMX, QCM, and ATCB Change Control Board procedures.
• Manage Standard to Technology Track projects and deliver required milestones (RACI, DFM, Release Checklist, CNP, MRAT, Qualification Report, Safe launch, etc.).
• Deploy process and product changes on the production line and track safe launches.
• Plan resources and logistics, perform characterization of processes, materials, and products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to apply MVA/DVA for cost, yield, and DFPC improvements.
• Provide leadership to other engineers to guarantee manufacturability and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor or related manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of project‑management fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with willingness to travel if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAS JMP or Minitab.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, and DFM methodologies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and/or 8D problem‑solving methods.
