Multi‑Skilled Technician – Building Maintenance

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and other building systems. The role supports the Engineering and Technical Services team, ensuring facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues and carry out repairs on building equipment.
• Assist with installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and track completion using the company’s maintenance system.
• Support energy‑management initiatives by verifying efficient operation of all systems.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations and report violations.
• Follow established procedures and work under close supervision to resolve straightforward problems.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED or trade school qualification (1‑2 years related experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, climb ladders and lift loads of 50 lb or more.
• Basic communication skills and ability to follow work routines and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
