Mid-Level Software Engineer

About the role

Trax Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to help build and enhance the core services that power a global logistics platform. You will work on high‑impact projects that improve scalability, resilience, and adaptability of systems used by buyers and sellers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical services that address complex customer challenges across multiple technologies.
• Ensure high‑quality engineering output by setting standards for code, tests, monitoring, and documentation.
• Balance short‑term business needs with long‑term architectural goals to keep solutions ahead of the curve.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve ambitious technical milestones.
• Participate in code reviews, source‑control management, and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proven ability to take projects from requirements gathering through launch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source‑control, build processes, testing, and operations.
