About the role
The Legal Officer will act as the Corporate Secretary for RCBC Leasing while providing legal advice to the organization. This position supports board and management meetings, ensures compliance with regulatory filings, and handles contract-related matters.
Key responsibilities
- Send notices and reminders for upcoming meetings and draft meeting agendas.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather agenda items and supporting materials.
- Distribute agendas, materials, and relevant documents to board members and departments.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and prepare official minutes and Secretary’s Certificates.
- File corporate documents such as GIS, By‑Laws, and other required filings with SEC e‑Fast and BSP.
- Maintain organized secretarial records, including collation and uploading to shared drives.
- Provide legal advisory services, including contract review and drafting.
Required profile
- Member of the Philippine Bar.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a lawyer, either in‑house or at a law firm.
- Knowledge of banking industry regulations and corporate secretarial duties is a plus.
