Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support senior accountants and management in delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with company policies. This full‑time position is based in Quezon City and focuses on routine accounting tasks, month‑end close, and process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve variances, escalating unresolved issues when needed.
• Classify and clear reconciliation items following the 7‑day variance and 90‑day SOX write‑off policy.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and close packages for assigned portfolios.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure all documentation is PCI‑compliant and properly filed.
• Run, import, distribute, and archive financial reports on schedule.
• Monitor settlement email inboxes and respond to issues promptly.
• Support implementation, testing, and enhancement of accounting systems.
• Participate in process automation, system testing (SIT, SAT, UAT) and SOP development.
