IT Support (Level 1)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Level 1 IT Support professional to join our remote team. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, helping them resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently while contributing to a high‑quality support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support via phone, email and ticketing system.
• Log, prioritize and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues on desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account tasks such as password resets and permission changes.
• Install, configure and maintain standard software applications and operating systems.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 teams with clear notes.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including device setup.
• Maintain and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems and common business applications.
• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills across hardware, software and networking.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
