Head of Operations – UCO Collection Network

About the role

We are looking for a driven Head of Operations to expand our Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection network across the Philippines. The role combines supplier acquisition, daily logistics management, and team leadership to increase collection volumes in key regions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new UCO suppliers such as restaurants, hotels, factories, hawker centres and waste collectors.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts while building long‑term supplier relationships.
• Oversee daily collection operations, including routing, driver coordination and warehouse handling.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.
• Track collection metrics, optimise routes and report performance regularly.
• Lead, train and motivate a small field operations team.
• Maintain relationships with buyers, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in operations, business development or supply‑chain roles, preferably in waste management, recycling, logistics or F&B.
• Strong negotiation and people‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with the capacity to manage field activities independently.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
• Valid driving licence (preferred).
• Knowledge of the Philippines UCO/waste‑management landscape and related permits is a strong advantage.
