Head of Cybersecurity

About the role

The Head of Cybersecurity will lead the cyber‑operations services of the Jardine Matheson Group’s shared services centre (SSC). Reporting to the Head of Technology Services, you will work with portfolio companies to design, implement and operate security controls that protect their digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance security architecture services, mapping controls across systems, networks and cloud environments.
• Design and deliver risk and threat assessment services to identify gaps and recommend new controls.
• Lead security engineering initiatives, including deployment, configuration and maintenance of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, SEG, NGFW, DLP, SASE, IAM, vulnerability‑scanning and cloud‑security platforms.
• Improve maturity of security‑tool processes to reduce false positives and increase reliability.
• Integrate SSC security processes with company IT workflows, from threat‑intel monitoring to configuration tuning.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in both managed security services and in‑house security operations.
• Proven track record in security architecture, engineering, operations and incident response at a regional level.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multiple business units and drive security process re‑engineering.
