Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines. You will help build and maintain the user‑facing parts of our mobile app and web platforms, delivering a seamless experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and UX Designers to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Make architectural decisions that balance speed, scalability, and code quality for new features.
• Develop responsive, high‑quality user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write unit tests and automated functional tests to guarantee reliability.
• Optimize performance, stability, and serviceability of the user experience.
• Research emerging technologies and propose improvements to the tech stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of front‑end development experience, including at least 1 year focused on front‑end architecture.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
