Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer is the primary owner of Home Credit Philippines' security tools and systems. You will ensure these solutions run smoothly, stay up‑to‑date, and are fully leveraged to protect the organization in line with the Information Security Policy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security policies across multiple tools and ensure alignment with the Information Security Policy.
• Maintain optimal operation of security tools, performing health checks, updates, and patches.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business owners to deliver value‑added security capabilities.
• Periodically evaluate tool adaptability against emerging cyber threats.
• Respond to ad‑hoc service requests related to security tools and systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity tools/systems engineering and administration.
• Hands‑on experience with IAM, DLP, endpoint security, SIEM, and PAM solutions.
• Strong understanding of information and network security frameworks.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience with scripting languages and solid presentation skills.
