Construction Project Manager, EMEA Construction

About the role

As a Construction Project Manager for Amazon data centers in the EMEA region, you will lead the delivery of new facilities and capital projects. You will own the full construction lifecycle, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while supporting Amazon’s commitment to energy‑efficient, cost‑effective designs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from constructability studies, proposal development, bid analysis, award, through onsite execution and close‑out.
• Own project scope, timeline, and budget for a specific data‑center site.
• Interface directly with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and punch‑list phases.
• Negotiate contracts, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with commercial and lease terms.
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning disciplines.
• Prepare construction scopes, requests for proposals, and capital‑request financial analyses, including change orders and purchase orders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction management for large‑scale, technical facilities.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to dive deep into project details, drive cross‑functional teams, and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
