COE Accountant – Global Finance Center of Excellence

About the role

The COE Accountant II supports the Center of Excellence finance workstream, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for GE Vernova's Gas Power business. You will work with global accounting standards, prepare key financial statements, and provide insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare general‑ledger reconciliations in line with GE standards.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Post journal entries and perform cost analysis, including accrual calculations.
• Review quarterly inventory and monthly accounts‑receivable reports.
• Assist with annual audit schedules and documentation.
• Identify workflow improvements and document process enhancements.
• Support regional finance teams on global accounting procedures.
• Conduct financial variance analysis against operating plans and project forecasts.
• Perform statutory reconciliations to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor cash balances and audit accounts‑payable payments for compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• English proficiency.
• CPA designation preferred.
