Apparel Graphic & Art Designer (Remote, EST)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing US custom‑apparel company, is looking for a creative Apparel Graphic & Art Designer to work remotely from the Philippines on EST hours. The role involves turning briefs, references and creative direction into print‑ready designs for large‑scale production while collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create original artwork for t‑shirts and related garments that matches the company’s aesthetic.
• Develop concepts from briefs and evolve them into production‑ready files.
• Design with print methods (screen printing, DTG, DTF, etc.) in mind to ensure accurate translation onto fabric.
• Apply strong typography, illustration and composition principles.
• Prepare clean, organized, print‑ready files with correct color, layering and formatting.
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining creative integrity.
• Balance creativity with cost‑awareness and production constraints.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet brand, quality and production standards.
• Leverage AI and generative tools to ideate, iterate or improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing original apparel or merchandise artwork.
• Strong portfolio showcasing t‑shirt or apparel designs (not just mockups).
• Solid understanding of apparel printing processes such as screen printing, DTG or DTF.
• Knowledge of color theory, typography and illustration for print.
• Ability to prepare accurate, print‑ready files.
• Action‑oriented, detail‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
