Android Developer (POS & EMV preferred)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The role focuses on building secure, high‑performance Android applications, especially in the payments and point‑of‑sale (POS) domain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver new features.
• Integrate card readers (EMV, contactless, magstripe) and other hardware peripherals.
• Ensure seamless API integration and compliance with payment security standards such as PCI‑DSS.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and debug apps across multiple Android devices and OS versions.
• Maintain code quality through unit tests, code reviews and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, architecture components and UI design principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON and third‑party libraries.
