Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager leads a dedicated team responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations, including reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting. This position ensures accurate financial data, compliance with regulations, and supports strategic decision‑making for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounting team and oversee financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate accounting staff; coordinate training and identify development needs.
• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Ensure periodic financial reports comply with GAAP or relevant reporting standards.
• Lead tax planning throughout the fiscal year and file corporate tax returns.
• Audit accounts for compliance with state and federal regulations; liaise with external auditors.
• Present financial recommendations to senior management on short‑ and long‑term objectives.
• Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience at a comparable level.
• Strong management and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Manila area.
