Accountant – Global Account to Report

About the role

Join Johnson & Johnson's Global Finance team as an Accountant responsible for end‑to‑end Global Account to Report operations. You will work with newly acquired entities, ensuring accurate period‑close, balance‑sheet integrity, and compliance with worldwide procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Execute activities in compliance with applicable laws, SOX, and Johnson & Johnson Credo.
• Drive timely and accurate period close for assigned entities, meeting SLAs and closing calendars.
• Perform and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve aged and complex items.
• Maintain strong internal controls, support audit requests and issue remediation.
• Maintain and improve standard work instructions and process documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for day‑to‑day operational and stakeholder queries.
• Collaborate with Business Units, providing technical accounting expertise for decision‑making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and control.

Required profile

• Experience in global accounting, period‑close, and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and knowledge transfer.
