X‑Ray Technician – Radiology Team

About the role

The X‑Ray Technician joins the Radiology team to produce high‑quality radiographic images that support visa medical examinations and clinical diagnoses. Working with state‑of‑the‑art X‑ray equipment, the technician ensures patient safety, equipment reliability, and accurate image capture.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the X‑ray unit for chest, abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, extremities and pre/post‑operative studies.
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Apply radiation safety measures and shielding to protect patients and staff.
• Schedule radiology appointments and manage records in the EQMS system.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position them correctly, and ensure comfort.
• Upload examination reports to the central system and address any deficiencies.
• Monitor inventory of radiology supplies and place orders as needed.
• Stay compliant with local regulations and professional standards.

Required profile

• Clear understanding of X‑ray processes for visa medical examinations.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and provide courteous service.
• Attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to cross‑train in other radiology units to ensure coverage.
