Workday Tester – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Tester to join our client’s team on a fully remote basis from the Philippines. You will ensure the stability, functionality, and performance of Workday modules through comprehensive testing activities, supporting successful implementations and enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for Workday applications and integrations.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts, and related documentation.
• Validate modules such as HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, and Financials.
• Execute manual and automated tests based on project requirements.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to ensure full test coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and business users during SIT and UAT phases.
• Support Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience with strong exposure to Workday applications.
• Hands‑on experience testing Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Financials).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with integration testing using Workday APIs, EIBs, Studio or third‑party systems.
• Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Workday certification and automation testing experience are a plus.
