Workday Adaptive Planning Architect

About the role

Kognitiv Inc. is looking for a seasoned Workday Adaptive Planning Architect to lead complex implementations and high‑stakes initiatives. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, mentor junior consultants, and shape the company’s technical vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure multi‑dimensional models, sheets, and dashboards for global business needs.
• Align Adaptive Planning with Workday HCM and Financial Management to ensure data integrity.
• Own medium‑to‑large projects from scoping and discovery through Go‑Live, including acquisitions and major phases.
• Architect integrations between Workday and external data sources using advanced ETL techniques.
• Mentor less‑experienced consultants and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple high‑complexity projects independently.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for coaching junior team members.
• Demonstrated leadership grit and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning configuration (modeling, sheets, OfficeConnect reports).
• Proficiency in writing Workday reports to extract financial and dimensional data.
• Experience designing integrations between Workday HCM, Financials, and external systems (Power of One).
• Advanced Excel expertise.
• Solid understanding of ETL methodologies for data flow orchestration.
