WordPress Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Web Developer to join Mediboost’s remote team in the Philippines. You will build, customise and maintain WordPress sites, ensuring smooth launches, migrations and ongoing performance for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customise WordPress websites using themes, templates and page‑builder tools such as Elementor, Divi and WPBakery.
• Perform content updates, layout adjustments and functionality enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve plugin conflicts, broken layouts and performance issues.
• Manage full site migrations, including staging‑to‑live moves, domain and hosting transfers, and DNS configuration.
• Optimise sites for speed, security and mobile responsiveness.
• Document processes, maintain accurate records and ensure seamless handovers.
• Collaborate with designers, developers and project managers to deliver high‑quality results.
• Communicate directly with clients or their previous IT providers during transitions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on WordPress development experience.
• Strong knowledge of hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, FTP, SSH) and DNS management.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and PHP; basic JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage multiple projects.
