West Visayas Lending Center Head

About the role

The West Visayas Lending Center Head leads the bank’s lending operations in the West Visayas region, overseeing a team of Relationship Managers and Associates. The role is responsible for driving profit through the marketing, delivery, and management of commercial and SME banking products while ensuring credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor marketing plans, strategies and action plans aligned with the annual budget.
• Directly manage Relationship Managers, monitor cross‑selling activities, and supervise daily transaction coordination.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships, solicit new business, and participate in client calls and site inspections.
• Review and endorse credit proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze monthly performance against targets, identify gaps, and create improvement plans for team members.
• Present credit recommendations to senior committees such as Crecolcom, Excom and the Board.

Required profile

• At least ten years of experience in credit analysis and account management within banking.
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, banking regulations and legal documentation.
• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities with solid decision‑making skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
