Web Developer – Drupal

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer specialized in Drupal to design, build, and maintain robust Drupal 8/9/10 websites. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and performant web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure Drupal sites, including custom content types, views, blocks, taxonomies, and menus.
• Create and maintain custom Drupal modules using APIs, hooks, plugins, and services.
• Build responsive front‑end components with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Twig, applying design systems such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Integrate modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte) and manage state with Redux, Vuex or Zustand.
• Optimize MySQL/MariaDB schemas, write efficient queries, and handle data migrations.
• Manage version control with Git, set up CI/CD pipelines, and work in containerised environments (Docker).
• Deploy and tune Drupal sites on cloud platforms (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS) and implement caching layers (Varnish, Redis).
• Apply security best practices, monitor patches, and configure user roles and permissions.
• Conduct unit, integration and functional testing using Xdebug or Drupal Devel.
• Document technical designs, workflows and deployment guides.

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving orientation.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
