Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations on assigned racks, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient workflow. The role requires close monitoring of pickers, forklift operators, and other warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all feeding platforms per rack and enforce tidiness to reduce SDR.
• Ensure aisles and racks are free of waste and items left on the floor.
• Validate that empty steel crates are returned promptly by forklift operators and that crate checklists are completed accurately.
• Track daily output, validate performance, and investigate root causes of issues.
• Report disruptions, missing tools, and damaged items to supervisors and the QM team.
• Coordinate with other team leaders to expedite location checks and SKU verification within 15 minutes.
• Maintain headlamp availability for emergencies and ensure all required tools are accessible.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree, vocational course, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a related warehouse or logistics role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible with working hours in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organized with good planning abilities and capable of meeting targets and deadlines.
