Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching materials and products efficiently. The role involves operating a forklift safely, maintaining inventory accuracy, and complying with company safety and operational standards. Flexibility to work at other warehouse locations may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Load, unload, transport, and stack materials using a forklift following safety procedures.
• Store products in designated locations and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report any equipment defects.

Required profile

• At least a senior high school graduate; vocational or college education is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to be assigned to other warehouse locations as needed.
