About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Waray speaker to join our remote team and help create high‑quality language data for AI applications. The role involves translating, transcribing, and annotating Waray content while ensuring cultural accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, transcribe and annotate Waray content with cultural precision.
• Review, edit and refine language materials for clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with AI teams to optimise language datasets for model training.
• Provide insights on linguistic nuances, idioms and regional variations.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs and suggest improvements.
• Maintain quality standards and project guidelines.
• Document linguistic insights and contribute to language resources.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Waray with strong communication skills.
• Experience in translation, linguistic analysis or related language work.
• Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret linguistic subtleties and dialect variations.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and remote work environments.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
