Vulnerability and Remediation Lead

About the role

GCash is looking for a Vulnerability and Remediation Lead to strengthen the security of its financial platforms. The role will drive the identification, assessment and mitigation of security weaknesses across the organization’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritize vulnerabilities in IT systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement remediation strategies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of vulnerability management activities.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure timely remediation.
• Communicate updates and obtain stakeholder buy‑in for security initiatives.
• Maintain and update vulnerability management policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in vulnerability management or a similar security role.
• Experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
