Veterinary Medicine Research and Development Manager

About the role

Aljay Bio-Sciences Inc. is looking for an experienced Veterinary Medicine Research & Development Manager to lead the creation and commercialization of innovative animal health solutions. Based in Santiago City, the role combines scientific research, product development, and technical advisory to improve livestock productivity across the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and continuous improvement of veterinary medicines, biologics, feed additives, and supplements.
• Identify innovation opportunities by monitoring emerging technologies, industry trends, and market needs.
• Develop product concepts and manage their progression from research through commercialization, creating roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with formulation specialists, regulatory teams, and production staff to ensure product safety, efficacy, and market readiness.
• Design and oversee laboratory studies, farm trials, and efficacy testing programs, ensuring scientific rigor and ethical standards.
• Analyze research data, produce technical reports, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product registration and commercial launch.
• Serve as the primary veterinary subject‑matter expert, providing evidence‑based guidance to internal teams and customers.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in veterinary product research, development, and field validation.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Santiago City and work hands‑on in farm and laboratory environments.
